Dr Philip Clark

Medical Director, Lead Radiologist and Chairman

NZMRT, BHB, MBChB, Dip Paeds, FRANZCR

Philip is a New Zealand trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist with subspecialist interests in Paediatric Radiology, Body Imaging and Interventional Procedures. 

Philip was Clinical Director of Radiology at Waitemata DHB during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, who formulated and lead a team, who implemented multiple operational plans for the Radiology Departments at both North-shore and Waitakere Hospitals.

Philip trained as a Medical Radiation Technologist at Waikato Hospital graduating in 1988. He attended Auckland Medical School, graduating with an MBChB in 1995. He commenced specialist radiology training in Auckland, graduating in 2004 with a FRANZCR. He commenced work as a Consultant Radiologist at Waitemata DHB in December 2003, completed an MRI Fellowship at North Shore Hospital in 2006, worked as a Musculoskeletal and General Radiologist for Regional Imaging, NSW, Australia between December 2007 to December 2009 and resumed working at Waitemata DHB in December 2009 to the current day. 

Philip is married with 4 children and in his leisure time, enjoys supporting his children with their endeavours as well as fishing/boating.

Tony Mockford

Executive Director

Tony has spent the past 30 years in the healthcare industry in a variety of roles from Sales, Marketing Manager to General Management with blue chip companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Smith and Nephew, AstraZeneca and Synthes.

Tony has a track record of building high performance teams and businesses.

Over the past 6 years he has enjoyed co-founding Pioneer Medical, which is the fastest growing Orthopaedic company in New Zealand.

Tony’s passions in life are his family, growing people and companies.

He loves the healthcare industry and has a real drive for delivering better patient outcomes.

Harrison Barnes

Executive Director

With almost a decade of experience in the orthopaedic device industry, including six years founding one of the fastest growing businesses in the New Zealand device market from a relatively young age, Harry is excited to join the Beyond team in a non-clinical role in the radiology space. He has a passion for establishing positive team environments by leading by example, and enjoys helping people grow and reach their potential. His focus will be strategic management of the commercial growth of the Beyond brand whilst ensuring the core values of putting patients and doctors needs first is upheld in the process.

Christina Campbell

Operations Manager

Christina Campbell is the Operations Manager for Beyond Radiology. With an extensive background in Healthcare management, Christina brings a vast range knowledge and passion for strategic and efficient operational processes that ensure a positive, safe and patient-centric experience. As a successful team leader, she provides support, training and encouragement to grow a healthy and positive culture in the workplace. From small surgical practices to the large, complex tertiary organisations, Christina has a proven track record of successfully balancing the needs of patients, staff and business to provide 5 star experience for all involved.

Christina can be found spending time with her beautiful children and husband outside of work.

Dr Sahan Wadasinghe

BHB, MBChB, FRANZCR

Sahan is an Auckland-trained consultant Radiologist. Sahan has more than five years full-time experience as a consultant for Waitemata DHB, where he continues to maintain a hospital-based role, along with team leader roles for both quality improvement and education. Sahan has completed fellowships in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and interventional radiology at North Shore Hospital, and is currently undertaking further advanced subspecialty fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.

Sahan is experienced across a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities and organ systems. In addition, he is skilled in a wide range of imaging guided interventional procedures, including joint injections, nerve root injections, and organ biopsies.

In his spare time, Sahan has a strong interest in technology, and enjoys watching motorsport, and spending time with his young family. 

Dr Ben Addison

BOptom, BMBS, FRANZCR

Ben is fellow of RANZCR having trained in the Auckland region, with subspecialist interests in Body Imaging (particularly urological), Oncology and Musculoskeletal radiology.

Ben worked primarily as a trainee in North Shore Hospital having completed an MRI fellowship there in 2019.

Ben originally trained as an Optometrist in Auckland University, graduating in 1999.

He attended Flinders Medical School in South Australia, graduating with a BMBS in 2010, and subsequently returned to NZ to work at North Shore hospital as a house officer and surgical registrar.

Radiology training was commenced in the Auckland region, graduating with a FRANZCR in 2019.

Ben worked in North Shore Hospital as a consultant radiologist from December 2019 to February 2020. He then moved to Port Macquarie in the Mid North Coast, NSW, where he worked as a general radiologist from February 2020 to April 2021 with heavy MSK, Oncology and Urology workloads. He also was responsible for the Respiratory/ Chest, Haematology, GI/ Breast and Urology MDM’s.

Ben is currently working as a consultant at the Waitemata DHB.

Ben is married with 1 child, and enjoys baby wrangling, ice hockey and looking after his Norwegian Forest cat.

Dr Clarke Baker

MBChB, FRANZCR

Clarke is a New Zealand trained Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal and general radiology.

Clarke attended University of Otago medical school graduating in 2011. Following his years working in Tauranga, Hutt and Wellington Public hospitals, Clarke began radiology training in his hometown of Auckland, graduating in 2020. In his final year as a senior Radiology registrar, Clarke focused on MRI and general intervention and completed the MRI body fellowship at Waitemata Health.

In 2021, Clarke completed his post graduate subspecialty Musculoskeletal Fellowship training in the Sunshine Coast at Noosa and Gympie Radiology, focusing on MSK MRI, arthrograms and imaging guided procedures including cortisone and PRP therapy.

Growing up in Auckland, Clarke enjoys anything to do with the water including sailing and fishing and is complimented by his wife and two young daughters.
