Dr Kael Baker | Radiologist

Kael is a New Zealand trained Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal, general radiology and interventional procedures including radiofrequency ablation (RFA).

Kael has attended University of Otago (BSc), Flinders University Adelaide (Medical school) and competed Radiology training in Auckland. He completed a musculoskeletal fellowship in 2022 with QScan Brisbane before moving with his young family to spend three years with QScan on the Gold Coast. At this time imaging professional sports teams (mainly NRL and AFL athletes) was everyday practice while also developing a strong skill set with RFA as one of the leading procedural RFA radiologists for QScan on the Coast.

With pleasure Kael has now returned to New Zealand to help patients across the South Island with his amazing wife and two young children. Outside of work Kael enjoys family boating, fishing either offshore solo or flicking the fly and even attempts exercise.
