Rob is a New-Zealand trained radiologist with subspecialty interests in body imaging and performing image-guided procedures.
Graduating from Auckland Medical School in 2010, Rob spent his pre-radiology years in the Auckland region including a year as a surgical registrar and another dedicated to research and medical education. He completed his radiology training across Tauranga and Auckland, obtaining his FRANZCR in 2019. In his final year, this included a 6-month MRI fellowship at North Shore Hospital that involved a large volume of spine and body imaging.
In 2020, Rob then completed a 1-year interventional radiology fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Western Australia, a major oncology centre and the state’s principal liver centre.
Rob returned to Auckland in 2021 as a consultant radiologist at Waitemata DHB.
In his downtime, Rob can be found spending time with his wife and young daughter, enjoying the outdoors and exercise.
