Dr Sahan Wadasinghe

Sahan is an Auckland-trained consultant Radiologist. Sahan has more than five years full-time experience as a consultant for Waitemata DHB, where he continues to maintain a hospital-based role, along with team leader roles for both quality improvement and education. Sahan has completed fellowships in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and interventional radiology at North Shore Hospital, and is currently undertaking further advanced subspecialty fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.

Sahan is experienced across a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities and organ systems. In addition, he is skilled in a wide range of imaging guided interventional procedures, including joint injections, nerve root injections, and organ biopsies.

In his spare time, Sahan has a strong interest in technology, and enjoys watching motorsport, and spending time with his young family.
